About Prince Fabrication
Prince Fabrication is a small fabrication shop in Otsego, Michigan, run by me, Anthony VanVolkinburg. Everything we sell is cut, polished and packed here, not drop shipped and not pulled off a warehouse shelf overseas.
How it started
The shop started out as ThreeDeePrince, a garage full of 3D printers and a YouTube channel where I showed what I was building. Over time the work that kept coming back was acrylic: shelf talkers, risers and display bases for retail stores, then blanks for people with UV printers. So that's what we focus on now, under the Prince Fabrication name.
What we make
Three things, mostly. Clear acrylic blanks for UV printing, made for eufyMake, xTool and every other UV printer owner who wants clean cast acrylic that holds ink. Retail and POP displays like shelf talkers, sign holders, risers, handbag stands and logo countertop displays. And custom builds for brands and event planners when a job doesn't fit anything on a shelf.
How it's made
We use clear cast acrylic from a supplier just down the road in Kalamazoo. Thin pieces (1/8" and 1/4") are cut on a 100W CO2 laser, which leaves a polished edge straight off the machine. Thick pieces (1/2" and 1") are cut on our CNC router and then flame polished by hand. Bent pieces like slant back sign holders and U risers are formed on a line bender. We also run our own UV flatbed printer, so we test our blanks the same way you'll use them.
What you can count on
No minimum order on anything, whether you need one piece or ten thousand. (One of our biggest jobs was 10,000 shelf talkers for a boutique chain in Texas, and it started as a small sample order.) Most orders ship in 3 to 5 business days, shipping is free over $50 in the US, and custom quotes come with a free rendering so you can see it before we cut it.
