Custom Acrylic Order FAQ

Most of what we make is custom: a size we don't list, a logo display, a riser set for a whole store. Here's how ordering custom acrylic from Prince Fabrication works.

How do I start a custom order?

Fill out the custom quote form with what you need. Include rough sizes, how many, and what the piece will hold or display. A sketch or a photo of something similar helps a lot.

Is the quote really free?

Yes. We send a free quote and a rendering so you can see the piece before anything is cut. There's no charge and no obligation.

How fast will I get a quote?

Usually the same day.

Is there a minimum order?

No. We'll make one piece or a thousand.

What files can I send?

A design file (SVG, DXF, AI or PDF) is ideal for logos and custom shapes. If you don't have one, a sketch with measurements or a photo works. We'll draw it up for you.

What material do you use?

Clear cast acrylic, from 1/8" up to 1" thick. Cast acrylic is clearer and cuts with cleaner edges than cheaper extruded sheet. Not sure which thickness you need? See the thickness and size guide.

Can you add my logo?

Yes. We can engrave logos and text into acrylic displays, and cut shapes in the outline of your logo.

How long does it take?

Items from the shop ship in 3 to 5 business days. Custom jobs get a timeline with the quote, based on size and quantity. If you have an event or a store opening date, tell us up front.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free on orders over $50 within the US. Smaller orders are calculated at checkout.

Do you offer bulk pricing?

Yes, and it's applied automatically at checkout: 5% off 10 or more items, 10% off 25 or more, and 15% off 50 or more. Large custom runs are priced in the quote.

Can I see a sample first?

For larger orders, just ask. We're happy to send a sample so you can check the quality in person.

How do I pay for a custom order?

Once you approve the quote, we send a secure Shopify invoice you can pay online by card.

How do I clean acrylic?

Mild soap, water and a microfiber cloth. Avoid paper towels and ammonia cleaners like window spray.
