Not every event build is 8 feet tall. Sometimes the details on the food table are what guests remember. For a music themed birthday party, we made custom serving pieces and cupcake toppers in volume.
Quick specs
- Mini milk crates: 100 pieces, 4 x 4 x 3 inches, 3D printed in three colors
- Cupcake toppers: about 40 to 50 guitar shaped toppers, laser cut from acrylic
- Use: each crate held a cup of chips and dip; each topper went on a cupcake

The pieces
The mini milk crates are scaled down versions of the classic crate, sized to hold a single serving cup of chips and guacamole. We printed 100 of them in three colors so the food table looked fun and coordinated. The guitar toppers were laser cut from colored acrylic, giving them a shiny finish that matched the music theme.
Small details, made in volume
Custom serving pieces like these are easy to add on to a bigger event build. We can match colors, shapes, and logos to any theme, and because we make everything in our Michigan shop, quantities in the hundreds are no problem.
